Programs

Three ways to train here.

All of them coached. None of them require you to already know what you're doing.

01

Barbell Strength

Squat, press, deadlift and the accessories that hold them up. Linear progression while it lasts, then something smarter. Written programming you follow rather than guess at.

60 minAll levels
02

Conditioning

Rowers, bikes, sleds and carries. Built to raise your work capacity without wrecking the next day's lifting session. Scaled to whatever you walk in with.

45 minAll levels
03

Foundations

Four sessions for anyone new to lifting. You learn the movements with an empty bar and a coach beside you, before you ever join a general class.

Coaches

Who's on the floor.

Every class is coached. Nobody is left to work it out from a whiteboard.

Dana Mercer

Head Coach

Twelve years coaching barbell strength, and a particular patience for people who arrive convinced they're not a gym person.

Theo Okafor

Conditioning Lead

Former collegiate rower. Writes the conditioning blocks and will talk you through pacing until it finally clicks.

Rina Salazar

Foundations & 1:1

Runs the beginner course and most private sessions. Specialises in training around old injuries and long layoffs.

Questions

Before your first session.

I've never lifted before. Is this for me?

Yes, and it's who Foundations exists for. Four sessions with an empty bar and a coach, learning the movements properly before you join a general class. Most people arrive nervous and leave knowing what they're doing.

What's the free week?

Seven days of full access — classes, open gym, everything. No card details taken up front and nobody will chase you afterwards if it isn't the right fit.

How busy does it get?

Classes cap at twelve, so the floor never gets crowded during a session. The 17:30 slots fill first; book a day or two ahead for those and you'll be fine.

I'm coming back from an injury.

Tell us at the door and we'll work around it. Our coaches program modifications routinely, though we're not medical professionals — if you're under a physio's care, keep them in the loop and we'll follow their guidance.

Do you do nutrition plans?

No. We coach lifting and conditioning, and we'll refer you to a registered dietitian if you want proper nutrition support. Better that than guesswork from someone whose qualification is in a different field.

How do I cancel?

In the app, or by telling a coach. It stops at the end of the month you've paid for. No notice period and no exit fee.

First week's on us.

Come in, try a class, see whether you like the room. No card, no contract, no sales conversation at the end of it.
